Site update: No longer living in Tasmania

July 24th, 2010 | Uncategorized

I was pleasantly surprised to discover just today that someone thought this blog a useful enough a site to add to tasmania online’s local history section.

Unfortunately, however, I am no longer based in Hobart. My partner & I have permanently relocated to tropical Cairns in far north Queensland. I also am juggling quite a number of other projects at present.

Therefore, I doubt I’ll be able to continue adding to this site any time soon, even though we will be making annual trips back to Hobart.

I do love the history of Hobart, however, & I am loathe to put such a final note on my interest.

Perhaps I shall try to find a way where I can continue to contribute material to this blog, even if I’m so far away. If not, I shall be sure to hand over this site into the care of someone far more suited than me right now to nurture it.
